Entertainment TV Adam Levine Loves the Word 'Wife,' but Blake Shelton Isn't Ready for Kids The Voice coaches talk family with Ellen DeGeneres By Tim Nudd Published on September 5, 2014 12:30 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty The Voice nemeses Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are both family men now. But while Levine just celebrated one big milestone, Shelton isn’t quite ready for the next one. In an appearance to air Monday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Levine – who married model Behati Prinsloo in July – reveals that he’s just head over heels for the word wife. “I abuse that word right now, a lot,” says the Maroon 5 frontman, 35. “I’ll say it for no reason. I’ll say, ‘Where is my wife?’ And she’ll be right there. Wife, wife, wife. I love that term. I even changed the number on my phone to ‘Wife’ when she calls.” DeGeneres then presses Shelton, 38, on his family life with Miranda Lambert. “Now, Blake, are you going to be reproducing soon?” she asks. But Shelton isn’t quite as enthusiastic in his reply as Levine was. “Um, I mean. No,” he says. Also, it seems it will take some time for Shelton to get used to his fellow coach’s status as a newlywed. “You have a ring on. That is so weird,” Shelton says. “I do. I know,” Levine replies. “I never really thought I would. It’s trippy. I’m such a child. How did this happen?” Want more stories like this?
