Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima have settled their divorce.
More than two months after Johnson filed for divorce from Dos Santos Lima, the 90 Day Fiancé stars’ marriage is over.
“Colt Johnson and Larissa dos Lima Santos Lima have come to settlement terms in their divorce,” Johnson’s attorney Shawanna L. Johnson told PEOPLE in a statement. “Through their respective attorneys, they have agreed to settle the case amicably with both parties bearing their own fees and costs.”
“Colt is very pleased that the matter is resolved and that both parties can move on with their lives. Given the short duration of the marriage and with there being no property matters or custody considerations, the matter should have, and has, settled early in the proceedings,” the statement continued. “The attorneys are preparing the Stipulated Decree to submit to the Court, which will be signed and entered, and will then be a matter of public record.”
The statement concluded: “Colt wishes Larissa the best in her future endeavors.”
Dos Santos Lima’s rep had no comment. TLC did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
E! News first reported the news.
Johnson and Dos Santos Lima, who is from Brazil, connected on social media. They met for the first time in Mexico, and Johnson proposed after five days. 90 Day Fiancé viewers watched as mama’s boy Johnson struggled to fit Dos Santos Lima into his life and worried about her high-maintenance lifestyle.
According to Clark County Clerk’s Office records, the pair wed on June 24, 2018.
But nearly seven months after tying the knot, The Blast reported in January that Johnson had filed for divorce from Dos Santos Lima in Las Vegas. According to the divorce documents, he requested a joint preliminary injunction to keep the pair from depleting bank accounts or spending money during the divorce.
A month later, she responded to his divorce petition, requesting that he pay $1,000 a month in spousal support, according to The Blast. She also requested that their joint bank accounts and home furnishings be split in half.
Also in January, Dos Santos Lima and Johnson allegedly got into an extremely violent argument. Dos Santos Lima shared several photos and videos on Instagram, revealing a bloodied face and claiming Johnson called the cops on her as the two were arguing.
TLC and Dos Santos Lima did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment at the time; Johnson was unable to be reached.
In the document, which was filed in Las Vegas, prosecutors alleged that Dos Santos Lima “did willfully and unlawfully use force or violence against or upon the person of her spouse.”
“Formal charges were filed on 01/16/2019 for Battery Constituting Domestic Violence. She has a bench trial on 04/04/2019,” a representative for the Clark County District Attorney’s Office told PEOPLE. “There was no indictment as that can only happen in cases involving felonies.”
Although the pair’s divorce is now officially settled, they were already embracing their split weeks beforehand.
