Jessa Tries on Wedding Gowns as TLC Announces Record-Breaking Ratings for 19 Kids & Counting
In an exclusive sneak peek, the then-bride-to-be stuns her family while dress shopping
As her sisters, her mother and her mother-in-law Guinn Seewald tearfully watch, Jessa, 22, models an array of wedding dresses at Tesori Bridal in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She ultimately chooses a light blush Allure dress with a fully beaded bodice of Swarovski crystals and pearls. Her choice brings up some questions from her littlest siblings, who debate what color a wedding dress should be.
The episode – airing Tuesday at 9 p.m. on TLC’s hit reality show 19 Kids & Counting – is part of the show’s record-breaking ninth season. The one-hour season premiere was the No. 1 ranked cable program in prime time with women and the series’s highest-rated season premiere ever.
Right behind the Duggars’ premiere success was the premiere of TLC’s Our Little Family, following the lives of Dan and Michelle Hamill and their children Jack, 6, and twins Cate and CeCe, 3, who all have a form of dwarfism known as achondroplasia.
19 Kids & Counting was Tuesday’s No. 2 most Tweeted reality series across cable and broadcast, according to Nielsen.
Jessa, 22, and her husband, Ben Seewald, 19, shared their newlywed lives in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, talking about their relationship secrets and hosting a tour of their Springdale, Arkansas, home.
