TLC will air mom-focused programming in the week leading up to Mother's Day
On the week leading up to Mother’s Day, TLC will air special family-focused programming in an initiative titled “The Mother of All Weeks.”
The biggest highlight of the event will air on May 5, when a two-hour episode of 19 Kids and Counting will celebrate the birth of Jill and Derick Dillard‘s first child. The episode will also feature motherly advice from Duggar matriarch Michelle.
Jill, 23, is currently past her first due date and at 40 weeks and counting, but her second due date is this coming Sunday.
She previously told PEOPLE she’s at that point “when everyone else is asking you, ‘When are you going to have that baby?’ The baby will come when the baby comes.”
Other highlights of TLC’s mom appreciation week include May 5’s series premiere of The Willis Family, about a musically gifted family, as well as the series premiere of What She Said on May 8.
Fans of TLC’s family-centric shows can even enter to win a trip for two to New York City, tickets to Mamma Mia! and a behind-the-scenes experience that involves a walk-on role in the play. To enter, share a photo of yourself with your mom with the hashtag “#MyMammaSays” with your mom’s best advice in the caption. Submissions will be featured on-air every night and a winner will be announced on Mother’s Day.
19 Kids and Counting airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on TLC.
