Kevin Kline just added a new trophy to his collection.

Kline took home the award for best actor in a play at this year’s Tony Awards for his role in Present Laughter.

Present Laughter follows a successful and self-obsessed comedy actor Garry Essedine (Kline) as he prepares to travel for a touring commitment in Africa.

The actor looked sleek in a classic black tux as he took the stage to accept the award, where he thanked his wife and children for their support.

FROM COINAGE: The Tony Awards by the Numbers

Kevin Kline leads the group of nominees in past Tonys wins, with three awards already under his belt. Jefferson Mays, who stars in Oslo, follows closely with two previous awards. For Denis Arndt, Chris Cooper and Corey Hawkins, this would mark their first award.

Hosted by Kevin Spacey, the 71st annual Tony Awards will air live June 11 on CBS from New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
