The Beyoncé Experience

What: Beyonce Knowles headlines New York’s Madison Square Garden for two glittery nights.
When: Aug. 4 and Aug. 5
Highlights: Don’t expect another YouTube-worthy tumble: She almost always lands on her feet. And it’s New York, so expect a star-studded crowd with possible special-guest performers (Jay-Z, perhaps?). Also on the bill: opening act Robin Thicke. Plus, there’s still time to catch her on tour until it winds down Sept. 15 in Winnipeg.

Power of 10

What: Drew Carey flaunts his game-show hosting skills.
When: Aug. 7, 8 p.m. ET on CBS
Highlights: Before he comes on down to host The Price Is Right in the fall, Carey offers a glimpse at what he’s like as a host on this new trivia show.

Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

What: Michelle Pfeiffer earns the 2,345th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
When: Aug. 6 at 11:30 a.m. PT
Highlights: The Hairspray star gets her due with this fine Hollywood tradition. Jeff Bridges is set to speak at the outdoor event on Hollywood & Highland, and it’s a good bet that many of the actress’s other celebrity friends will be on hand for support – and requisite photo opps!

What: Former American Idol contestant Constantine Maroulis celebrates his debut solo album with a listening party in New York.
When: Aug. 7
Highlights: If you can’t be one of the lucky VIPs invited to the bash with the singer – and count on American Idol alums to make a strong showing – here’s good news: You can own his record yourself. It’s in stores the same day.

Pick of the Week

The Bourne Ultimatum, starring Matt Damon, Julia Stiles and Joan Allen
• In theaters Aug. 3
• Writes PEOPLE’s Leah Rozen: “What makes the Bourne films so exceptional . . . are smart scripts, seat-clutching chases, blistering editing, distinctively jittery camera work and Damon’s intense performances.”
