DOWN THE AISLE
They do! On June 18, 2015, Dancing with the Stars pro Lindsay Arnold, 21, married her high school sweetheart, Samuel Lightner Cusick, also 21, in a small, private Mormon ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. Arnold opted for a sleeveless lace dress by Moonlight Bridal, while Cusick wore a navy suit.
For their reception, the couple recruited celebrity wedding planner Danielle Rothweiler of Rothweiler Event Design. Rothweiler used a color scheme of pinks, cremes and golds to evoke a “romantic, vintage, chic” vibe for the celebration.
THE PERFECT SETTING
Working with Arnold and Cusick’s desired color palettes, Rothweiler topped off each table with a bouquet of white and pink flowers, candle holders and a framed picture of the couple.
Varying flowers and greens made up the bouquets carried by Arnold and her eight bridesmaids, who each wore different dress styles while still staying true to the ceremony’s color scheme.
The bride and groom’s first initials served as the main décor on the fireplace mantle.
Framed engagement photos and a batch of flowers adorned a pink table where guests could write their wedding wishes for the newlyweds.
Eager bachelorettes gathered on the dance floor as Arnold prepared to toss her bouquet.
A GOOD CATCH
We have a winner! A thrilled bridesmaid embraced Arnold following her victory.
Despite the day’s vintage vibe, the couple included a very modern attraction – a photo booth, where Arnold and Cusick captured some sweet and silly poses.
GIVING OFF SPARKS
“I’m so excited to dance through life with Sam,” Arnold told PEOPLE exclusively. “I could never have imagined that when I was 16 years old I would have met the man I would marry and who would be my partner – yesterday, today and tomorrow!”
