• New couple alert? Alex Rodriguez was in town with the New York Yankees to take on the Boston Red Sox, but the baseball star spent his off-hours nesting in a luxury suite at the Liberty Hotel with Cameron Diaz. “They arrived in Boston together via private jet and were whisked to the hotel,” an eyewitness tells PEOPLE. The duo spent most of their time in their rooftop suite, not even emerging for meals. Instead, they shared lots of room service and “had an incredible time together,” the source says.

The 88-year-old arrived to a standing ovation, then snacked on fish and chips and other seafood at her reserved table. “She wasn’t crazy drinking or dancing but she was relaxed at her table and spoke to the entire cast, took pictures, joked around and ate,” the restaurant’s manager tells us.
