• We know who’ll be hitting the slopes soon! In preparation for a family getaway to Aspen, Colo., Heidi Klum and Seal recently spent a day shopping at Burton in Los Angeles, stocking up on ski essentials. The couple bought some colorful Mini Shred gear for their kids, and picked up some new luggage for themselves. Sweet!

• Revelers at Friday night’s opening celebration of the new Cabo Wabo Cantina in Las Vegas were treated to a duet no one could’ve predicted: a performance by owner/rocker Sammy Hagar – and a surprise appearance by Kenny Chesney! After Hagar downed some Cabo Wabo Tequila and wrapped up a set with his band, the Wabos, Chesney jumped up onstage to sing with the guitar star.

New parents Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel enjoyed a date night in Beverly Hills recently, stopping in for a bite at Bouchon Bistro. “Diggs was very loving with his wife,” says an onlooker. “He had his hand on the small of her back while they were being escorted to their table.”

Ashley Tisdale celebrated the main man in her life – her dad! – during a family dinner Friday night at BLT Steak in L.A. Joined by seven friends and family members who, a source says, “had a great time,” Ashley sipped sodas and some celebratory cocktails. When dessert arrived, the whole table broke into a chorus of “Happy Birthday.”

• Rekindled romantics David Duchovny and Téa Leoni attended Broadway’s In the Next Room or The Vibrator Play in New York City on Tuesday night. The Californication star and his wife were both dressed casually, and “conversed enthusiastically with each other before the show,” shares a tipster. “He frequently had his arm draped affectionately over her shoulders during the performance.”
