New dad Liev Schreiber, toting his new purchase – a surfboard – after dropping by ZJ Boarding House in Santa Monica. (Looks like he’s still finding time to be sporty!)

Claire Danes, cozying up to her British beau Hugh Dancy while dining on the patio at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont. Holding hands while chatting and sipping on drinks, the couple seemed to be involved in a very intimate discussion, an onlooker reports. Also at the Chateau: British singer Robbie Williams, who was dining al fresco, as was skateboarder Tony Hawk and his wife.

• In a rare family outing, Harrison Ford, girlfriend Calista Flockhart and her son Liam, 6, sat two rows behind home plate at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. Munching on nachos, their efforts to go incognito were foiled when the theme song to Raiders of the Lost Ark blared over the stadium speakers as the camera zoomed in on the threesome. Though Flockhart smiled for her close-up, Ford looked a bit more bewildered, taking cover underneath his tan baseball cap. But Liam didn’t seem to mind: He enjoyed the summer evening at the ballpark, often cuddling up to his mom during the game.

Renamp#233;e Zellweger

Renée Zellweger, rocking out at a private Billy Joel concert at Hampton Social at the Ross School. During the set, the actress danced with her friends near the stage. When Joel played “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant,” Zellweger slow-danced with a tan, toned guy, holding him tight and whispering in his ear. Says a source: “They’re just friends,” adding, “[they] were really cute together.” And a few of the other celebs couldn’t resist dancing, either: Alec Baldwin had his hands on Zellweger at one point. The 30 Rock star also migrated to the back, by the food (including lobster rolls and marinated skirt steak), where he talked up Joel’s wife, Katie Lee Joel, who planned the menu. Meanwhile, Joel’s ex, Christie Brinkley swayed to the music along with their daughter Alexa Rae Joel. The two seemed especially pleased when Joel played his song “The Downeaster Alexa.” Other A-List fans in attendance: Mary Kate Olsen, Kelly Ripa and Adam Sandler.

• In other music news, Kanye West, hosted a party at the Underground in his hometown, Chicago. “He strolled in like the king of the club,” an onlooker tells us. After performing his new song “Stronger,” the rapper hung out at owner Billy Dec’s table, while dancing alongside another Chicago native: R. Kelly.

Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon, people-watching as he patiently waited to order at a packed bar at Los Angeles’s Four Seasons hotel. Just as the bartender served up McMahon’s ice-cold martini, his costar Dylan Walsh (sporting heavy black-frame glasses) spotted his TV partner and greeted McMahon with a “dude pat” on the back and a smile. After a little chit-chat, the pair slipped away through the lounge.
