It’s the rebel rocker versus the country belle: Bo Bice and Carrie Underwood gave it their final shot last night, and tonight at 8 p.m. on FOX, the fans will have their say. New York City-based astrologer and numerologist Sharita of Sharita’s Star Secrets looks at the singers’ astrological signs to predict who’s destined to be the new American Idol.

Carrie Underwood

Birth Date: March 10, 1983
Sign: Pisces

What’s in the Stars: “A lot of Pisces are very easygoing,” explains Sharita. “They’re not always in a rush to do things.” But adding up the digits of Carrie’s birth date reveals that she’s guided by the number 1 (1 + 0 = 1), which “gives her a fiery energy,” Sharita says. “It makes her very strong, which has carried her this far in the competition. She’s comfortable being center stage.”

The 22-year-old from Checotah, Okla., also has a moon in Aquarius, which gives her an inner stability that can seem like detachment. “She has times when it’s emotionally harder for her to dive deep into the soul of a song than it is for Bo,” says Sharita. “She’s not as connected to the music as he is when he performs.”

The Verdict: This Pisces didn’t come off as a cold fish – but voters still might not take the bait.

Bo Bice

Birth Date: November 1, 1975
Sign: Scorpio

What’s in the Stars: “Scorpio is probably the most powerful sign in the zodiac,” says Sharita. “Scorpios have a very intense energy.” And because he was born on the first of the month, Bo is guided by the number 1, making him as energetic and passionate as Carrie. But as a Scorpio, “He’s a little more in control,” says Sharita.

Bo’s moon falls in Libra, meaning the 29-year-old from Helena, Ala., is emotionally balanced – and he’s skilled at expressing his feelings as a performer. “He knows what he wants,” says Sharita. “His intentions onstage are clear.”

The Verdict: Meet the scorpion king! “Bo is about to hit the jackpot,” says Sharita. “Two years from now, he’ll be amazed at where he is.”
