Tina Turner

Tina Turner (née Anna Mae Bullock) is an American singer. Widely known as the Queen of Rock and Roll, Turner has released a number of popular songs, including "What's Love Got to Do with It," "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)" and "Proud Mary." Though she started her music career as part of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, she eventually branched out on her own. Turner has released nine full-length studio albums, starting with Tina Turns the Country On! in 1974. She's won eight Grammys, three Grammy Hall of Fame Awards and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Turner married Ike Turner in 1962, but she filed for divorce in 1976, citing irreconcilable differences. Turner later married German music executive Erwin Bach in Switzerland in 2013 after dating for more than two decades. Turner became a citizen of Switzerland upon her marriage.
