James Gandolfini

James Gandolfini was an American actor and producer. He was best known for playing Tony Soprano on HBO's The Sopranos (1997-2007), which earned him three Emmy Awards. Gandolfini also received Emmy nominations for executive producing Alive Day Memories: Home From Iraq (2007) and Hemingway and Gellhorn (2012). His film credits include Crimson Tide (1995), 8MM (1999), The Mexican (2001), The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009) and Where the Wild Things Are (2009).
