Helen Hunt

Helen Hunt is an American actress. As a child actress, Hunt appeared in television series like Swiss Family Robinson (1975-1976), The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1977), The Fitzpatricks (1977-1978) and It Takes Two (1982-1983). She rose to fame and is best known for portraying Jamie Buchaman in the sitcom Mad About You (1992-1999, 2019), which earned her four Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. Hunt has also appeared in films and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1997 film As Good as It Gets. Her other films include 1992's Mr. Saturday Night, 1996's Twister, 2000's Cast Away, 2000's What Women Want, 2007's Then She Found Me, 2011's Soul Surfer, 2012's The Sessions and 2018's The Miracle Season. Hunt has also directed films and television, including episodes of Mad About You and American Housewife.
