Geena Davis

Geena Davis is an American actress and activist. She made her professional acting debut in Tootsie (1982). Davis went on to appear in The Fly (1986), Beetlejuice (1988), The Accidental Tourist (1988) — which won her an Academy Award — Thelma & Louise (1991) and A League of Their Own (1992). She also had a recurring role on ABC's Grey's Anatomy (2014-2018) and Netflix's Glow (2019). In 2004, Davis launched the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in the Media.
