Would You Wear a Pink Wedding Gown? Vera Wang Thinks You Should
See the bold dresses from the designer's latest bridal collection!
So it looks like we’ve officially declared today Lauren Conrad Wedding Day (see here, here and here!). And if the bride-to-be is looking to be on-trend, we can tell her pink is the new white for wedding dresses, according to the queen of bridal couture, Vera Wang.
The designer debuted her Fall 2014 collection Monday in N.Y.C., and the confections ranged in hue from a petal pink to a bright coral — no white in sight. And that wasn’t the only flirty, festive element of the designs. They also featured oversize floral appliqués, bows and bold silhouettes.

While pink might be new for Wang, this isn’t her first foray into colored bridal gowns. Her spring 2013 collection featured a range of bold red designs, and she also did a line of black gowns. Shenae Grimes wore a black-and-blush design for her nuptials to Josh Beech earlier this year!
We can totally see someone like the newly-affianced Naya Rivera in one of these bold-hued creations (especially, that pale peach one third from the left!). But we want to know:
