There has been a lot of action on and off the court at the 2016 Wimbledon tennis tournament. Serena Williams was fined $10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct, Novak Djokovic broke his 30-match Grand Slam winning streak and Nike’s dresses caused an upset before the matches even got underway. But what has been equally captivating (for us anyway) has been the chic celeb-packed cheering section. The tournament always attracts big-name stars and this year high-profile fans pulled out all the style stops. The guys were looking really put-together in sharp suits (David Beckham’s three-piece suit!), while the ladies incorporated the sporty vibe into their classy dresses (we see you Sienna Miller!).
First, let’s start off with the dapper dudes, Beckham, Dominic Cooper and Niall Horan. Beckham took his mom to see the action in a charcoal gray three-piece suit with striped tie. Cooper chose a checker-print navy slim-fit suit with a coordinating tie and sporty camera bag, while Horan varied it up the most in a soft green suit with crisp collar-less shirt underneath and trendy orange Wayfarer frames.

While the men went classic and elegant, the ladies put a sporty twist on their looks. Miller wore a bright red Burberry cap-sleeve dress with pleated skirt and racing-stripe details throughout. Pippa Middleton went with the playful geometric print Tabitha Webb “Edie” shirt dress, playing up the mod vibe with gray suede pumps.
Gemma Arterton played down the crispness of a cream-colored suit with a nautical white and navy shirt and Jimmy Choo Mary Janes, while Rebel Wilson’s green, white and yellow striped Eloquii dress with purple clutch incorporated the Wimbledon colors perfectly throughout.

Although celebs pulled out all the stops, the fashionable tournament began to rocky style start. Some Nike female athletes weren’t too pleased with the super-short babydoll dresses outfitted for them to wear throughout the competition. Luckily the brand made some adjustments to the skirt to make it sturdier and allowed players to swap ensembles.
