But Whitney Port, who’s had super-long hair for as long as we can remember, just went for a big chop before her big day.Okay, she didn’t go for a full-on Jennifer Lawrence pixie cut. And her hair isn’t that short — the swingy collarbone-length cut is a fun summer-ready style and totally complements Port’s face shape. We’re just surprised she chose now to get scissor-happy. Judging by her Instagram caption, though, she’s totally loving it: “Finally did it! Man, I feel like a woman! @anhcotran @johnnyramirez1 @ramireztransalon” she wrote. She did give us a little clue that a chop might be coming in April, posting the below photo of waist-length strands with the caption “Sooooo ready for a change @johnnyramirez1 what are we thinking?!?!” We guess it took a few weeks to muster up the courage, but she finally made the cut. Weigh in on the latest celebrity hair changes Port is busy planning her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Tim Rosenman and has a custom line of invitations with Wedding Paper Divas launching this summer. “It’s going to be a destination,” Port told PEOPLE about her wedding. “Since I’m from here and Tim is from New York, we thought it would make sense for everyone to just be on neutral ground.” When it comes to her dress, Port plans to design it herself. “I know what cut works for me,” she shared. “It’s something so personal. That will be a really fun process for me.” As for her new shorter hair, we can’t wait to see how she wears it on her big day. What do you think of Port’s cut?
