See what the editors at are adding to their closets at the moment

It’s no big secret that editors love to shop. And since our new purchases weren’t getting the “oohs” and “aahs” we were looking for from the men in our life, we decided to show ’em off to people who we know appreciate a good find: our readers.

And we want to return the favor. If you Tweet (@StyleWatchMag) or Instagram (@peoplestylewatchmag) a picture of the item and include #PSWshops, we’ll be showcasing some of our favorites. You might just see the latest addition to your closet on the site!

Westward Leaning Sunglasses

Senior Style Editor Zoë Ruderman: Someone keeps borrowing my Westward Leaning “Sleeping Beauty” sunglasses (side eye at my boyfriend), so I’ve decided it’s time to invest in a second pair.

I love the matte black of the “Mercury Seven” frames (different from all my glossy finish sunnies) and the touch of metallic. I also like the fact that $10 from every pair sold goes toward funds for science education since my brilliant mother is a biologist.

Urban Outfitters floral maxi dress

Associate Producer Whitney Little: Between Daylight Savings Time and the sunshine in N.Y.C. this weekend, I finally felt like it was okay to purchase some spring and summer attire.

In the warmer months, I’m definitely a maxi dress kind of girl, and this Urban Outfitters floral number hit the spot, along with its high-low hemline and gold detailing on the collar. And once I saw the sale tag (over 40% off!), I knew it was true love.

My favorite thing about this dress is that it’s versatile: I can dress it up for work with wedges and gold bangles or throw it on with strappy sandals for a day in the park. Now all I need is some 80-degree weather.

Hudson Jeans

Style Director Andrea Lavinthal: I spotted a publicist for Hudson jeans wearing this super skinny cropped style at a preview for the brand‘s fall line today and I couldn’t wait to get back to the office so I could order them for myself.

They come in several color combos, but the off-white hue is perfect for spring, especially when paired with bright pumps or a fun printed blouse. And yes, that black stripe down the side makes your legs look longer and slimmer.

Reebok running shoes

Courtesy Reebok News Editor Rennie Dyball: I’ve been dreaming about a pair of perfectly cushy running shoes for far too many miles. And now that I’m pregnant, I really need that extra support when I’m pounding the Manhattan pavement. So when I heard about Reebok’s new DMX Sky shoes, marketed for their “ridiculous cushioning,” I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them.

At first glance, I wasn’t sure what to think of the bubbled soles, which are like the futuristic cousin of the Reebok “Pump” sneakers everyone used to wear. But according to the brand, it’s that bouncy design that make the kicks feel so good.

Turns out, they really do live up to the hype, even just for walking. These sneaks put a serious spring in my step, both physically and seasonally: the cheery, bright hues are perfect for the warming weather. In fact, I’m already planning to purchase them in a second color.
