If you could have anything you want for Christmas, what would it be? New York’s The Cut posed the question to the fashion industry elite, and the responses ranged from humble to wildly over-the top. The sisters behind the incredibly popular Rodarte line erred on the side of the former, confessing cravings for “antique red and white glass mushroom tree ornaments,” (Kate Mulleavy) and “a velveteen rabbit,” (Laura Mulleavy), as did Donna Karan, who is hoping for “time off.” Meanwhile, Christian Louboutin covets “Barry Diller’s plane,” and Michael Kors has big dreams for a “large Jackson Pollack painting, my own island, and a diary free of appointments.” Read more about designers’ wish lists at
