Four of fashion’s most influential designers are bringing their sartorial talents to video with The Day Before, a four-part series on the Sundance Channel from French producer Loic Prigent, which condenses the frantic 36 hours leading up to each designers’ runway show into four one-hour episodes. The series kicks off in Paris with Sonia Rykiel for the design house’s 40th anniversary runway show, before hopping to New York for Proenza Schouler, Milan where Karl Lagerfeld presents his Fendi collection, and ending back in Paris for the Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture show. The series premiered last night in N.Y.C to a star-studded group, including a Proenza Schouler-clad Leighton Meester and Rachel Zoe.
