Thaddeus Rombauer/Hugo Boss The label is re-launching three of its classic men fragrances, and Cruz is fronting Hugo Boss Man, the “official fragrance of the NFL.” (No, it doesn’t smell like locker rooms, we promise.) “I’m really into Hugo Man right now, especially during these warm months,” Cruz says of his collaboration. “It’s a really fresh scent, but it’s energizing and not at all common. It’s got a unique character, which really complements my individuality and modern style.” Cruz adds that he wears cologne all the time — even when he’s on the field practicing (which we’re sure his teammates appreciate!). “Fragrance is a big part of my style. I want to be able to go out of the house smelling good,” he says. “I usually have different people commenting on my fragrance. They always want to know what it is and until now I have liked to keep it a secret. It’s definitely something that’s a part of my style and grooming ritual. Even if I’m going to practice just for a few hours, it’s become such a part of my routine that I have to put cologne on.” Gwyneth Paltrow’s Hugo Boss Fragrance Ads: Get a Behind-the-Scenes Look! So if the guy in your life needs a little push, maybe buy him a bottle. (We’re not guaranteeing he’ll turn into Victor Cruz but it can’t hurt to try.) What do you think of the campaign.
