Venice Film Festival 2015: Jaw-Droppingly Gorgeous Moments You Can't Miss from the Red Carpet
Every gorgeous photo you've gotta see
You may be relaxing on your long weekend (and wearing nothing but a swimsuit and jean shorts to boot), but for stars, style never takes a day off. Particularly for the stars invited to the Venice Film Festival, who are working overtime to bring major glamour and gorgeousness to your social media feeds. (Fashion fans can’t live on photos of celebs in bikinis on yachts alone!) Below, check out the best of the fest’s red carpet.

The theme of the weekend seemed to be “bombshell chic,” as Tilda Swinton (who normally opts for quirkier, more menswear-inspired pieces) attended the premiere of A Bigger Splash in a curve-skimming yellow dress with a draped, off-the-shoulder neckline, and Diane Kruger stopped traffic in an off-the-shoulder dress with a train by Boss. “Thank you Hugo Boss and Jason Wu for making me this gorgeous movie star dress,” Kruger wrote on Instagram. “All of my red carpet looks for the festival are inspired by the wonderful Italian actresses from the ’50s and ’60s.”

Kruger’s chic streak was echoed by her fellow Venice Film Festival juror, Elizabeth Banks, who has been bringing the drama daily to the red carpet. After kicking things off in embellished Dolce & Gabbana, the star has kept the vibe going with equally eye-catching looks by (from left) Marchesa, worn with Anne Sisteron jewels; Andrew Gn, paired with Sutra emerald earrings; and Elie Saab, which she wore with Christian Louboutin heels, a Giuseppe Zanotti Design clutch, Djula earrings and EF Collection ear clips.
Kristen Stewart is nothing if not consistent at an event: After posing for photos at Equals premiere in an intricately embellished silver Chanel Haute Couture tea-length dress and matching silver Christian Louboutin heels, the actress — who’s famous for ditching her heels in favor of sneakers as soon as she gets to the end of the red carpet — slipped off her pumps and enjoyed the film barefoot. (And looked extremely elegant while doing so, we might add.)

Finally, it wouldn’t be a red carpet round-up without some major hair moments: Dakota Johnson added some serious texture to her bob to go with the funky dress she chose for the A Bigger Splash premiere, while Amber Heard attended the Danish Girl premiere on the arm of husband Johnny Depp in a ridiculously complicated braided and knotted mohawk. If you really want to try this at home, the star was kind enough to pack on the PDA with her hubby, allowing plenty of good looks at the do from all angles.
