Two Outfits, One Star: Which Look Helped Emma Watson Win Best Dressed?
She's been all over the red carpet lately, but one gown stands out
When Emma Watson hits a red carpet, she’s bound to end up on multiple Best Dressed lists, so we knew it was inevitable that the fashion-forward star would take top honors in our Most Loved Looks competition. We just weren’t sure which ensemble from her Noah promotional tour would win over readers.
With an overwhelming 92 percent approval rating, Emma’s navy-and-black Wes Gordon gown, worn to the movie’s Berlin premiere, was easily the favorite. It’s hard to argue with the results, especially once you get a 360 degree view of the dress’s stunning bow back (and we love that she can pull off the tricky slicked-back hair look!). But Emma made a second appearance in our Top 10, thanks to her incredibly chic black-and-white J. Mendel jumpsuit, worn with a statement gold cuff and side-swept waves at the film’s Madrid premiere.
Coming close to beating Emma out was her Noah co-star Jennifer Connelly, who brought the glamour in a custom Lanvin column gown at the Berlin premiere, as well as a couple of Pretty Little Liars: Ashley Benson in a white Alberta Ferretti peplum design and Shay Mitchell in a blush Ann Taylor dress, both at L.A.’s PaleyFest.
Tell us: Are you impressed with Emma’s latest red carpet style streak, or do you think the title should have gone to someone else?
