After days of teasing us with short video clips and faceless photos, Topshop has finally revealed the name of its holiday campaign star. Drumroll, please …
It’s Kate Bosworth! Did you guess right?
The actress stars in a sensual video for the brand, singing “Winter Wonderland” in a scene inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer in The Fabulous Baker Boys. The short was directed by Bosworth’s fiancé, Michael Polish, giving it extra special meaning to the star.
“This project brings together two important aspects of my life: cinema and fashion,” Bosworth says in a release. “I have always been a fan of the Topshop brand and it has been an honor to work with [CEO Sir Philip Green] and the team. I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as we did making it.”
Bosworth collaborated with Topshop’s design team to create the red dress she wears in the clip; though it’s currently one-of-a-kind, the glimmering frock (and her sparkly shoes) will be available as made-to-order on topshop.com in the weeks ahead. The makeup she wears is currently available on topshop.com.
Also available for purchase: Bosworth’s version of “Winter Wonderland,” which is on iTunes now.
