If you’re skeptical about spending $12 on a Fifty Shades of Grey ticket, Jamie Dornan is here to convince you to take out your wallet and join in on the hype. The Irish heartthrob, who plays Christian Grey in the hotly-anticipated film, gave fans a peek at his workout routine (and his extremely-impressive biceps). Basically, his upper body strength is totally insane.

In a snap posted on Twitter (below), Dornan appears to defy gravity as he holds his entire body up in an extended plank position. Since the actor spends a lot of the film shirtless, we imagine he’s perfected his workout routine over the past year. (Fans of the erotic series know that Christian Grey has the perfect chiseled body underneath his designer suits.)

And Dornan revealed that filming the sex scenes in the movie definitely required courage.

“Some of the Red Room stuff was uncomfortable,” he said in a recent interview. “There were times when Dakota was not wearing much, and I had to do stuff to her that I’d never choose to do to a woman.”

Dornan and his on-screen girlfriend Dakota Johnson (who plays Anastasia Steele) also shared a trainer for their roles.

“I was going be naked, so I wanted to look good,” Johnson said.
