While the debate was raging on about Nicole Richie’s new do — love it or hate it? — we got the inside scoop from her mane man, Andy LeCompte of Chris McMillan salon. Andy tells PEOPLE that “Nicole is always ready for changes. She likes experimenting with the shorter and longer hair. Andy says that the new cut has left her hair long enough “that she can wear it in a ponytail and she can still throw it back.” And isn’t that the perfect spring haircut for anyone?
