The Night's Big Beauty Moments
TAYLOR'S BRAIDED UPDO
Is it bad that we hope never ever gets back together with her prom night curls? Because we much prefer her blunt bangs and sophisticated hairstyles of late, including this cool take on a milkmaid braid with crisscrossing plaits in the back.
We almost didn’t recognize when she walked by in a flowy red gown and long, tousled honey-highlighted hair. Bonus points for her stunning scarlet lips and matching nails (a blend of Red Carpet Manicure Ooh La Liscious and Red Carpet Reddy).
Forget that slit for a minute and shift your focus to ‘s hair. On any other star, the supersleek twisted do would look severe, but somehow it just enhances her stunning features (and flawless makeup).
Even ‘s ponytails are superior. The superstar secures her (magically longer) pin-straight hair at the nape of her neck and wraps a thick section around the base.
It’s hard to steal the spotlight from a $31 million necklace, but lashes give it their best shot. They’re so long and thick, we wonder if they create a strong gust of wind when she blinks.
KALEY'S EXTREME LINER
“The inspiration was rock-and-roll street chic,” mark makeup artist Jamie Greenberg tells PEOPLE.com of Kaley Cuoco’s look. Fun fact: Greenberg used the edge of a credit card and two different eyeliners to create the perfect effect. Click here for the step-by-step breakdown.
ADELE'S RETRO MAKEUP
Fans were divided on her Valentino frock (for the record, we loved that she tried something different), but when it comes to Adele’s signature ’60s-inspired updo and thick black eye liner, everyone can agree she nailed it. Hairstylist Michael Ashton used John Frieda Luxurious Volume Fine to Full Blow-Out Spray, hot rollers and lots of hair spray to create the look.
KATY'S FULL-VOLUME HAIR
also opts for a throwback look, only she references the ’70s with a larger-than-life blowout inspired by Priscilla Presley.
BONNIE'S BRIGHT BRAID
Raise your hand if you Googled “Bonnie McKee” as soon as she hit the red carpet with her girl-on-fire side braid. Love it or hate it, now you know who she is, so it’s a win for the singer/songwriter.
CARLY RAE'S BLUE EYE SHADOW
We’re ready for Carly Rae Jepsen to get a new hairstyle. Why? For one, her bangs are obscuring the electric blue shimmery shadow on her lids, which is one of the only pops of bright color on the carpet.
