After unretouched shots of her circulated the Internet in March, was motivated to get in better shape. For someone who “used to eat Sour Skittles every second”, she is curbing her sweet tooth, working out more and is taking the Nivea Good-Bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini! Challenge, a four-week skincare, nutrition and fitness program. The reality star says she “definitely sees a difference in the tightening and firming” of her skin. “I’m really happy with the curves I’ve been given, but there are no excuses to being lazy,” she says. – Allie Gross

Since becoming pregnant with her first child, Adriana Lima has made a shift in her exercise routine out of necessity. “I wake up tired. I’ve been feeling sick all day,” admits the supermodel. Instead of daily cardio sessions (“I would jump rope for 10 minutes,” she says) and kickboxing lessons, the Victoria’s Secret Angel has found a different form of movement. “I’m doing yoga now,” she says. “I didn’t take used to take it seriously, but now I realize it’s really good way to get some exercise – and it’s fun.” – Charlotte Triggs

Doing a simple plank pose is “the best,” says Ky Evans, an L.A.-based instructor at Pilates Plus HBV, who has taught and Marcia Cross. “It engages your entire abdominal wall and works the whole body.” To do the perfect plank, extend your arms in pushup position and keep your abs engaged – without dropping your hips. “The best part about it,” says Evans, “is you can do it in your office, at home – anywhere there’s a flat surface.” – Alexis Chiu

In her quest to stay fit, Whitney Port recently discovered the “amazing” book Smart Girls Do Dumbbells. “It seriously does wonders, and I would recommend [it] to anyone looking to get their body in tip-top shape in [a] jiffy!” the City star raved on her blog. The illustrated guide ($10) includes how-to exercises for free weights. You can never go wrong by “starting low and going slow!” writes author Judith Sherman-Wolin. Though she helps contestants on The Biggest Loser to work as a weight-loss team, tough-love trainer Jillian Michaels prefers the solitary aspect of martial arts to stay in shape. “I’m forced to learn new things and I find it challenging,” she says of favorite practices including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Aikido. “I’m not a team sport girl.
