Black-and-white was the biggest trend on the carpet at the People's Choice Awards

Katharine McPhee brought her abs to the red carpet in a midriff-baring Balmain design. She added a pop of color via a red lip and finished the look with a sleek side-parted updo. Olivia Munn also went for a striped midi style, but her Giambattista Valli Haute Couture sequin two-piece was a bit more modest (read: no abs). And her formal pony just skyrocketed to the top of our list of star hairstyles to try ASAP.
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting’s two-tone onesie featured black culottes on the bottom and a white, sheer-paneled top. And of course she found yet another way to style her pixie, accessorizing it with a ton of bobby pins. Next, Hillary Scott showed she’s not afraid of a mega-high slit in a Yigal Azrouël halter gown. The Lady Antebellum frontwoman finished her look with black-and-silver accessories.
