Teresa Giudice's Post-Prison Plans Include an At-Home Spray Tan!
Find out all about her post-prison pampering
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was released Wednesday morning from prison after serving her 11.5-month sentence for fraud charges. And, as any good Housewife (and Sizzle Tan star) would do, her post-prison plans include at-home beautifying to get back to her Bravo reunion special glam standards.
According to sources, Giudice’s planning on getting right back into her old beauty regimen, with treatments including an at-home spray tan.
PEOPLE also learned that she took some extra time primping (about a half hour’s worth!) in the prison’s public bathroom before leaving this morning. “She took a little while to come out so looked like she took some time to get herself together,” a source says. “She wanted to make sure she looked good when she came out.”
Her lawyer brought her an outfit for her to change into before she left, and in the first post-prison photos, obtained exclusively by PEOPLE, she was seen wearing a full face of makeup as she exited. A source says, “Teresa was smiling when she emerged. She was wearing all black and looked happy.”

But come to think of it, this doesn’t sound too far off from her time behind bars. She explained how she would trade items she purchased at commissary for beauty services. And as for her apparent weight loss, her lawyer James J. Leonard, Jr., told PEOPLE that she helped teach exercise classes in prison, which helped her stay so trim and fit.
Husband Joe Giudice also talked about her beauty regimen behind bars. “She made us wait an hour … to do her hair,” he says of going to visit her in prison. “That was a little annoying.”
But Leonard clarified that any rumors that her time at Danbury was “diva-like” was untrue. “It’s not a country club. She’s getting along with inmates and staff,” he explained.
“Prison was tough for her,” says a source, “but she made the best of it.” That included talking to her family as much as possible, getting to see her four daughters on visits and penning her soon-to-be-released book,
