The 26-year-old – who recently underwent a major style overhaul – picked a crushed-velvet patterned gown and an industrial-chic Noudar diamond choker necklace to accept the first-ever Taylor Swift award at the 2016 BMI Pop Awards at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Swift’s blue Monique Lhuillier gown featured dark green velvet floral details that continued through the curve-hugging design’s train. The look’s spaghetti straps (a new favorite of the “Bad Blood” songstress) allowed a tasteful peek at Swift’s décolletage.
Her notably rocker-chic accessories also included a pair of silver pyramid stud earrings, and chunky matching rings, which highlighted her (Bad) blood-red manicure. Swift further committed to the days of Beanie Babies and Lisa Frank with an iridescent green zip Anya Hindmarch clutch.
Five Things Taylor Swift Loves Right Now
Swift was up to her usual audience dancing at the award ceremony, shaking her money maker as she made her way to the stage to accept awards for singles “Style” and “Wildest Dreams.”
In addition to her namesake award – only the second BMI trophy to ever be named after an artist – the blonde beauty also took home Pop Songwriter of the Year.
