What We're Loving Right Now

Every week, PeopleStyle's style and beauty editors bring you the newest, hottest and most lustworthy things we're seeing out there – from the prettiest lipsticks to need-now dresses

Catherine Kast, Style Editor: While incredibly appropriate for a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue shoot, tiny tops without support (à la Kate Upton's first SI cover) are simply not practical for those of us whose number one concern while wearing a bikini is spilling out. ASOS has a line of suits for ladies with bigger busts (up to a 36G cup) comprised of all those tough-to-pull-off silhouettes—like bandeaus and stringy tops —and sturdy halters, like this hidden underwire top. It's very sexy but still wearable.

J.Jill Compassion Fund Tote Bag

Andrea Lavinthal, Style and Beauty Director: Confession: I've been obsessed with the J.Jill catalog for years. I think it has something to do with how all of the models give off that wholesome-yet-fun “lets start a book club so we can drink Pinot Grigio and gossip about the neighbors” vibe. No, that’s just me? Well, here's an even better reason to love the brand: Over the the last 14 years, they've donated more than $6 million dollars to disadvantaged women through their Compassion Fund. To support all the amazing work they do, pick up this cute tote bag. One hundred percent of the net proceeds will go to those who need it.

Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: After being off my feet treating an ankle injury for what now feels like an eternity, I couldn't be more excited to start running again. So to celebrate my first outdoor workout in months, I'm treating myself to some fresh gear, specifically these no-fuss classic mesh short shorts.

Emily Kirkpatrick, Associate Style News Editor: It's no secret I'm extremely picky about the scents I surround myself with. I've already made my perfume preferences loud and clear, so it should come as no surprise that my hyper-specific olfactory palette also extends to my choice in candles. And the spicy, lingering scent of Archipelago's Black Forest Soy Candle is my personal match made in heaven. Now if I could just always be surrounded by about 20 of them at all times, my life would undoubtedly be a dream.

Catherine Kast, Style Editor: I am a complete wimp when it comes to high heels— I only wear them on carpeted floors and only for approximately an hour at a time. But when I discovered these sporty sandals from Clark's, I fell in love. They have a tread that grips the ground and the heel is thick enough to support my whole foot (no falling forward the way I do in other shoes). When I wore them out a few nights ago, I kept waiting for them to get uncomfortable. After eight long blocks and a couple of hours standing up at an outdoor bar, that never happened!

Andrea Lavinthal, Style and Beauty Director: Whatever you think about the Kardashian sisters own personal style, you can’t deny that those ladies know how to make some seriously cute children’s clothes. Case in point: this ombre chambray one-piece, modeled here by my one-year-old niece Gemma. She styled the jumpsuit with the braided belt that came with it (it’s hard to see because Gemma doesn’t stand up yet), her favorite Freshly Picked gold moccasins and some exotic animal friends.

Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: When I first heard Vogue editor Grace Coddington was creating a fragrance with Comme des Garcons, I was ecstatic. But when I saw the bottle — a sleek design topped with a cat-shaped cap (a not-so-subtle nod to her love of felines) – I was in love. And as for the actual fragrance, a warm blend of bergamot oil, Moroccan rose and musk, it's the purrfect scent for spring, summer and beyond!

Lindy Segal, style social editor: This may not be the chicest recommendation I ever make, but I promise it's a good one. A while back I wore a brand-new pair of seemingly comfortable leopard loafers from one of my favorite brands, and by the time I got to the office I had three very large, very painful new blisters. My coworker Catherine came to the rescue with these life-saving bandages – not only did they seal up the broken skin (gross, I know), but they also stayed put all day. No wonder these babies were in every pharmacie on my recent trip to Paris – they really, really work.

Jillian Ruffo, Associate Beauty Editor: I've always loved a good bronzey-red eyeshadow, but finding the perfect shade is tough. This one is not only the most amazing mix of red and brown, but it glides on smooth, stays on all day and has an ideal hint of sheen that looks glossy, not glittery.

Sharon Clott Kanter, Deputy Style Director: Now that it's slightly nicer weather outside, I've turned my attention to stocking up on summer essentials, and a pair of crisp white sneakers topped my list. Many of the most photographed street style stars—i.e. Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Miranda Kerr—rock these lovely leather “Kam” sneakers by Kenneth Cole. My hope is to get just a smidge of their combined epic street style mojo this summer, so I'm scooping these up ASAP. Now if I could only have the rest of their wardrobes, too!

Julie Farin, People Public Relations: I recently discovered Artis Brush on Instagram. I was intrigued by the mini video tutorials, so I thought I’d give these unusual-looking numbered professional makeup brushes a try. They are pricey ($40-$75 each). But they are worth it – especially the No. 8 oval brush for foundation from the Elite Mirror Collection. It is absolutely life-changing! The smoothest, fastest, most pore-erasing foundation application I have ever experienced. The smaller brush for eyeshadow (No. 3) blends like velvet. I now own a set of six that I use daily.

Zoë Ruderman, Executive Director, Content Strategy: My boyfriend is an amateur carpenter and our apartment is filled with beautiful pieces including an oak dining room table, wooden bookshelves and a refurbished card catalogue. So, when I saw this wood-finish speaker from LSTN, I decided we had to have it to match our aesthetic (way better than a clunky, tech-ish-looking speaker in black or white). But it still delivers powerful sound. Loud enough for me to play Lemonade and hear it even over the sound of my boyfriend using the circular saw to make a bench.

Alex Apatoff, Deputy Style Director: I love the matte lipstick trend, but not necessarily the drying sensation of current popular formulas on the market. Dolce & Gabbana's new matte line, however, is everything you could want in a matte lipstick: It goes on smoothly, deposits the perfect amount of color, lasts all day and doesn't give me that 5:00 flake-off that other mattes do. Bonus: I'm convinced the “Rosa” shade isn't just my perfect pink, but the perfect pink for pretty much everyone.

Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: Candle burning is one of those beauty rituals that I only do in winter (perhaps because that's the closest I get to being curled up next to a cozy fire). But as Memorial Day draws near, I'm beginning to miss the scent of one filling my bedroom. In its place, I just picked up this lovely diffuser. The fragrance is inspired by the French island of Corsica. I have never been, but if it smells of the ocean with a hint of lemon zest and coconut, consider me transported.

Andrea Lavinthal, Style and Beauty Director: As a beauty editor (and a human living in the world), I am well aware that picking at a zit is THE WORST THING YOU CAN POSSIBLY DO, but I just can't help play at-home dermatologist anytime I get one. And I have the annoying dark spots to show for it. I've tried several brightening products over the years and was about to make an appointment for a professional laser treatment, when I discovered this four-week treatment. By week two my hyperpigmentation had faded dramatically, which is especially amazing considering the formula doesn't contain hydroquinone.

Fashion Market Editor, Sarah Ball: “Beautifully made. Ethically sourced. Globally minded.” Three major reasons why Bloom + Grace is one of my favorite companies. For each item sold on their site, a number of children will receive vaccines (which is indicated on the tag of the item) and in the spirt of Earth Day (or Earth Month rather) and “doing good”, I’m purchasing these cool tassel earrings. Not only am I providing 4 children with vaccines, I am supporting and empowering entrepreneurship and artisans in developing countries who create these beautiful pieces!

Emily Kirkpatrick, Associate Style News Editor: I was a huge proponent of skinny jeans when they first came back into style around 2005, and I've never looked back since. Even with magazines and celebs trying to convince me that wide-legged pants are definitely a thing, I just can't get down with all that swishy extra fabric billowing around my ankles. But then I saw these slightly frayed, slightly belled, and cropped jeans from Levi's and I suddenly, inexplicably fell in love. But regardless, don't expect to see me in a pair of JNCOs anytime soon.

Catherine Kast, Style Editor: Artist Christina J. Wang creates incredible prints that manage to be both whimsical and realistic at the same time (like the delightful pigeon on her N.Y.C.-themed scarf), and this produce-patterned scarf is one of my favorites she's designed recently. I love the idea of wearing botanicals, like fruits and veggies, rather than classic florals to get the vibe of spring. Yes, this pattern is bold, but it's versatile: Depending on how you drape and tie it, it can go with almost any color.

Courtesy La Ligne

Catherine Kast, Style Editor: If your personal style goals include the words “classic,” “modern” and “effortless,” congrats! There's now a brand for that. La Ligne is inspired by, well, the line, which takes on various forms throughout the collection: nautical stripes, pinstripes and more. In addition to styling inspiration from cool-girls like Allison Williams, Lily Alridge and Joan Smalls, who are photographed putting their own spin on the collection, each individual piece is shown worn three different ways, so you can actually see how they would look with the basics you already own. For those of us who can't seem to streamline our wardrobe, the struggle is over. Save up; You'll want it all.

Sarah Ball, Fashion Market Editor: I love how minimalist and easy this slide is (and not to mention extremely comfortable!). The white is super chic and will pair with everything from a black shift or slip dress to culottes with a white tee for a completely different look. Wearable, yet edgy and refined— this new brand has quickly become a personal favorite.

Alex Apatoff, Deputy Style Director: I cycle through lip color infatuations, and at the moment I'm back in love with this just-berry-enough, doesn't-budge-an-inch formula from N.Y.C. brand Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. The color is “strangers will stop you to talk about it” vibrant and the consistency is lasting without being tacky. Even better? It's cruelty free and made from good stuff. I guess you could say I'm obsessed.

Dr. Jart+ Every Sun Day UV Illuminating Sunscreen

Emily Kirkpatrick, Associate Style News Editor: Turns out my mother is right and sunscreen is important. Who would've thought. So I've recently been on the hunt for the perfect SPF and I think I've finally found it with Dr Jart+ Every Sun Day UV Illuminating Sunscreen. It's light enough to layer under my foundation without feeling greasy or clogging my pores, and the subtle glowy affect it gives my skin doesn't hurt either. Buy It! Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: I've been nursing a sprained ankle, which means it's been all tennis shoes, all the time. So until I can revisit my heel collection, I thought I'd spruce up my flats with these high-shine lace-ups. It's a trendy spin on a regular ballet flat, plus they're so cute they may even make my brace go unnoticed!

Lindy Segal, Style Social Editor: This blanket-scarf is the perfect size for getting all bundled at the office without any “that's not appropriate office wear” glares. (Plus, I have a couple of long flights coming up – now all I need is a good sleep mask and I'll be set.) The best part? 40 percent of the proceeds go toward the Art Therapy Outreach Center, which helps fund free art therapy services for people who have experienced trauma.

Jillian Ruffo, Associate Beauty Editor: I'm a total face oil addict – to the point where there's no room for anything else on my vanity. Up until last month, had you asked me to name a favorite, it would be impossible for me to find an answer. But a friend recommended that my dry skin needed celebrity aesthetician Joanna Vargas's Rejuvenating Serum (er, magic potion), and let's just say I don't know how I ever lived without it. And the bonus: there's a lot more room on my vanity these days.

Enter this bold, graphic one-piece from Express. The print is perfect for my Caribbean getaway, and the strappy back details pack just as much sexiness as any bikini while still covering up everything I want to cover up. Catherine Kast, Style Editor: I am so, so over all the basic black I wore all winter, so the only things I'm buying for spring are playful pieces like this customizable jean jacket. For $10, you can get up to nine letters stitched on either the jacket (above the front pocket, seen here) or on the back waistband of their pants and shorts. Jillian Ruffo, Associate Beauty Editor: After waking up with a strange rough texture all over my cheeks, I added this night-time treatment to my skincare routine in a major panic. Two days later, the roughness had significantly diminished – and within four days, my skin felt like nothing had ever happened, only that it was even softer than before. Miracle product? Emily Kirkpatrick, Associate Style News Editor: I’ve only recently come to grips with the fact that despite my best efforts, I am truly a hypebeast. Case in point, I write this while wearing a Kanye West TLOP t-shirt. So as much as I may fight it, every now and then a new sneaker comes along that I (and every other shoe-obsessed person on the Internet) have to have right away, which is how I came across these new triple white Nike Air Huaraches. Alex Apatoff, Deputy Style Director: Considering that Minnie Mouse and Kate Spade seem to share the same über-girlie aesthetic (and polka dot obsession), I'm a little surprised it took them this long to collaborate! The six-piece collection includes an iPhone case, sweater and bags, but I'm partial to this sweet glitter clutch, with just the tiniest wink to its inspiration. Adorable and versatile? Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: When it comes to styling my hair, I'm the laziest. My general tress philosophy is “wash, air dry and go,” except when it's cold out. Which is why I've been using this heat-protecting tonic to help shave my blowdry time in half (it also enhances my hair's natural shine!). And since the primer also works as an anti-humidity spray, it'll be my strands' savior this spring when temps (and my hair!) start to rise.

Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: I always buy a new neutral shoe for spring and summer because it always becomes my wear-everywhere piece. (You can count on a tan sandal to look great with any outfit.) But this year I'm being more proactive with my purchase and choosing not only the most stylish, but the most comfortable pair out there. Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: Gwyneth Paltrow (goddess of glowy skin and queen of green living) has launched skincare. And if that isn’t reason enough to break out your Amex (the line ranges from a $90 cleanser and eye cream to a $140 night cream), hear me and Ms. Paltrow out: The star’s six-piece non-toxic line (each is formulated with at least 73% organic content) has her facialist swooning over her skin — and I’ve been on the receiving end of many a compliment since I starting using it religiously, too. A splurge item for most, might I recommend adding it to your birthday — or Mother’s Day — wish list!

Sharon Clott Kanter, Deputy Style Director: This angular heel has my heart! I love that it's not a traditional block heel or stiletto, and the croc-embossed fabric adds to the ultra-cool factor. Alex Apatoff, Deputy Style Director: We had three warm days in N.Y.C. last week that caused me to bring out all my warm-weather clothing … and simultaneously confront the grim reality that I hate all my warm-weather clothing. So I've been online shopping like crazy looking for some fun pieces to freshen it up. Top of my list? This lovely rose-print Forever 21 maxi, which nods to the '90s trend without taking me back to my “glory days,” has that flattering and oh-so-popular off-the-shoulder neckline, and (ding ding ding) is only $30. Catherine Kast, Style Editor: Whenever there's a designer collab the fear is that the pieces are going to be so obviously from that collab. But Rodarte's collection with & Other Stories is the perfect combo of seasonless, modern basics (think velour high-waisted shorts and long-sleeved wrap dresses) and standout statement pieces, like this skirt. I love it because manages to be both retro and futuristic at the same time. Oh, and Chloë Sevigny already owns it—she wore it to the Yeezy show. Sold!

Sarah Ball, Fashion Market Editor: Metallic silver is really having a moment in the shoe world, but it can sometimes be a bit tricky to wear — that’s why it’s perfect in a sandal form. It's not too much, but adds just enough fun to any spring outfit. I love this Dune London sandal because the heel height is perfect — it can be dressy or casual and the silver is neutral enough I'll be able to wear it with everything!

Andrea Lavinthal, Style and Beauty Director: Ever since I moved to N.Y.C. in the early aughts, Haven has been one of the most popular spas for everything from facials to waxing. And now the beautifying spot has a gorgeous new home on Mercer street in SoHo. It’s bigger (no more bumping elbows in the waiting area!), brighter and features a steam room, cool mani/pedi chairs and an area for hair treatments and blowouts. I can’t wait to try the new “Bitch” massage which treats the symptoms of PMS including anxiety and insomnia.

Sharon Clott Kanter, Deputy Style Director: I'm totally the person who carries their life with them everywhere they go, so I'm always in need of a big bag that will fit tons of stuff. For a while, I went for the double-bag method—one small bag for the essentials and a tote for the rest (gym clothes, change of shoes, etc.). But it's just become too much. So, I've decided to invest in a tote that can work double duty, like this one from Vince. I love how the croc-stamped leather looks luxe in every color it comes in, including this icy chambray. Plus, there are two removable inner pockets that can hold all my valuables, and be taken out and worn as clutches. So functional! Problem solved.

Over the past couple years I've been finely honing my routine and it's nearing peak cleansing perfection. The final missing piece, however, is a really good toner. For the past few months I've been using one I impulse purchased at Muji, but it's list of ingredients all in Japanese gives me pause. Andrea Lavinthal, Style and Beauty Director: According to the calendar, it’s almost spring, but the weather is so freaking cold in NYC right now, I’m actually looking for a new winter jacket. It may sound insane to spend several hundred dollars on a coat, but when you factor in how often you wear it (every day for a few months), plus what it does (keeps you toasty and dry even when it’s absolutely frigid and snowing) and how it looks (surprisingly cute for something so functional) the price seems slightly more doable.

Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: When it comes to a great cat eye, I usually rely on a liquid formula for a bold, lasting liner look. But Sonia Kashuk's Dramatically Intensifying Kajal Eyeliner has a waxy, gel-like formula that goes on smooth, doesn't smudge and makes it through a workout. And it's under $10! I'm sold.

Lindy Segal, Style Social Editor: Ever since I saw the gorgeous, bold lip color Lucy Hale was wearing during her PeopleStyle Instagram takeover last week, I've been dying to copy her look. Turns out, her makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan used “Vixen” (far left), a rich, rosy red from Mark's matte collection. I can't wait to give it a try this season – and I might even add a layer of “Siren” (center), a pretty purple, for a little extra depth.

Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor: It's not something I advertise, but I'm a preppy at heart. I can't resist bows, pearls and anything monogrammed. So these tortoiseshell coasters immediately shot to the top of my “holiday hostess gift” list (as well as my “Hey Mom, I know you're reading this” holiday wish list).

Catherine Kast, Style Editor: If you haven't checked out People Shop yet, you must! My fave piece is this versatile brass bracelet made by Soko, an environmentally-concious brand made in Kenya. You can channel different vibes depending on the way you wear it; Try the bars facing up for a boho feel. If you flip it, the sleek, solid bar looks totally classic.

Brittany Talarico, Style News Editor: Finding ankle boots in the right shade of gray is no easy task: Some are too light, Some are too dark and others look too purple. Agree? Well, guess what all you gray-ankle-boot shoppers? I found the pair. Cole Haan's “Abbot” bootie in stormcloud suede is that balanced gray hue that looks perfect with everything. I am also a fan of the dual side cut-out and 1.75-inch stacked heel, which gives a little bit of height, but is also totally practical for walking the N.Y.C. streets.

Andrea Lavinthal, Style & Beauty Director: I love Beth Thomas Cohen so much that when she told me she was writing a self-help book to encourage women to embrace the imperfections in their lives, I offered to blurb it even before I read the (awesome) finished product. The tone is sassy, blunt (like Cohen, who is always refreshingly honest even when the truth hurts) and witty. After just a few pages you'll feel way better about your relationship, career and life in general.

Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: Our team is moving downtown next week, which means two things for me: 1. It's time to start packing up the 20 or so pairs of shoes currently hiding under my desk, and 2: I need some office supplies for my new digs. Enter Cynthia Rowley's Office collection, which is filled with everything from cutesy planners to colorful desk organizers to floral-print scissors. Added perk? Everything is super-affordable.

Adeline Duff, Style and Beauty Intern: If you like lemon water (and let’s face it, who doesn’t?), this activated-charcoal infused drink is for you. Dirty Lemon also includes dandelion root and ginger which help boost your digestive system – so the idea is that you can indulge in the stuff you like and let this help you out afterwards. Plus, the packaging is super cute and it’s refreshingly delicious.

Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: I love a good carryall that holds all of my essentials without weighing down my bag. So when I saw this “Heta” style I was hooked. It's made from super-soft genuine leather (but weighs next to nothing) and comes with a removable coin purse, which is roomy enough to store a cell phone. But the best part? It's made from a brand that employs women who have overcome incredible challenges in life.

Andrea Lavinthal, Style & Beauty Director: Damsel in Dior blogger Jacey Duprie has such a fierce following that when she announced she was doing a collection for Splendid, launching Nov. 1, the brand had to create a digital waiting list for the super-soft T-shirts, sweats and dresses. Sign up and you'll get early access to shop on Oct. 30. I'll be in (virtual) line to buy this classic striped cotton shirt.

Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor: I have many skills. Preparedness is not one of them. That's why I love the people at Pinch Provisions for doing all the hard work for me. Zoë Ruderman, Features Director: I spent hours on Shopbop (shh, don't tell my boss) before heading to the Emmys last month and it paid off because I ended up wearing this Rachel Zoe plunging mini and getting more compliments than I've ever received on an LBD. It's the first time I've worn a tuxedo-inspired look and now I'm back on Shopbop, considering adding this white version to my arsenal… and this… oh, and maybe this

Brittany Talarico, Style News Editor: This isn't a gel. It's not a pencil. It's a POMADE for your brows. And it's the only brow product I need to keep in my makeup bag. The creamy wax formula has a really soft hold, which prevents my brows from feeling stiff or flakey (you know what I mean). Plus, thanks to the natural tint, it makes my arches look fuller (read: It covers up those spots I over-plucked during my tweezer-happy high school days). Curious? Boy Brow comes in three shades (brown, black and blonde), so it's easy to find the perfect tint for your coloring.

Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: It's no secret I'm a cat lover. (If you happened to pick up our Style gift guide last year, my love for felines was front and center on our Editor's Picks page.) And as a member of the beauty team, lipstick is basically my second language. So when I discovered Paul & Joe's latest (and cutest!) lipstick launch — limited-edition cat-covered lip stains — I freaked. The line is made of three kitty-themed lip products — a nude, pink and red — and each was created with a little cat face on the top of each bullet (because, of course). (Seriously, can they get any cuter?) So, if you love cats, these are for you. And if you don't love cats, I'm getting these for you anyway so maybe one day, in the near future, you'll begin to appreciate their cuteness.

Lindy Segal, Style Social Editor: I know what you're thinking: A cape…scarf? But trust me, this is about to be your new go-to fall accessory. Andrea Lavinthal, Style & Beauty Director: I've always been a fan of Giuliana Rancic's style (not to mention the E! host herself, who's super-cool and fun in person), so when she launched her own clothing line for HSN, I knew the collection would be really strong. What I didn't anticipate is how much I'd fall in love with this space dye knit tank. I wore it to work with jeans and a blazer and it was so comfy and flattering that I kept it on for a barre class that night. I wear it so much that I might have to buy a second one for when the first is in the laundry basket.

Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor: There are few things I love more than red lipstick, and Chanel makes the best reds. My obsession of the moment? Brittany Talarico, Style News Editor: After reaching peak leather jacket fatigue last year, I hunted down the perfect suede moto for fall. Most styles were over $200, but the geniuses at Forever 21 managed to make a real suede topper for under $70. Pricy for Forever 21, yes, but the quality is great. Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: I used to write letters all the time, then life got in the way. But I recently discovered this gorgeous Diptyque Correspondence Set, and it’s motivated me to pick up a pen again. Bearing a beautiful print on one side, each sheet feels like an objet d’art. Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: I decided it's too chilly for standard slip-ons and too early to bare my winter boots, so thankfully I found this in-between-seasons savior — the Kenneth Cole “Kalvin.” Its rubber sole gives off a sneaker vibe, while the high top elastic ankle mimics the coverage of a boot. So I'm set to keep denying that winter's right around the corner in style.

Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: I've never really been a big brow person. Not too long ago, I used to get my arches waxed/shaped, but recently, I've said sayonara to the appointment sessions for my new must-have: Hourglass' Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil. The two-headed tool is a combination of pencil, powder and wax and fills in spaces effortlessly while making them look dense rather just tinted, and the brush side easily combs up hairs for a bushy, Cara Delevinge-inspired look. Since using the pencil, I've gotten more compliments on my bushy brows than ever before, so trust me when I say it's worth it's $32 price tag.

Brittany Talarico, Style News Editor: According to celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, every girl needs a little fringe in her wardrobe this season. But fringe is one of those trendy pieces that you don't want to spend a ton of money on. Luckily, on a recent fashion trip to Marshalls, I nabbed this black bucket bag for $29.99. Yes, you read that right. It's a steal. It holds a ton. And It looks cute with just about everything. (All things I look for in a purse!)

Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: For the 10th anniversary of their powerhouse serum, Kiehl’s is taking the product to next-level awesome with one pretty cool partnership. The brand tasked Solange (yes, the Solange) with designing limited-edition packaging. But wait, it gets better. Twenty-five percent of net profits from sales of the limited-edition packaging (up to $25,000) benefits two charities near and dear to Solange’s heart: 14 + Foundation and Son of a Saint, as well as donorschoose.org. So now you can change your skin and other people's lives at the same time.

Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: I recently went on a weekend getaway to upstate New York, and the plan to do some fall shopping after stuffing my face at the local hangout, The Heron, may not have been the best plan. But on the other hand, I may not have indulged in buying this food-baby covering knit poncho at the chic boutique, Nest. It's super soft, looks so sleek with skinnies and booties and has me wondering how I've gone my whole life without owning something this comfy.

Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor: This photo might not look like much – but that's kinda the point. When top fashion designers need undergarments to be seamless and invisible, they all turn to Commando. But the brand's designs are can't-live-without even if you aren't a top runway model. You may think $20 is crazy for a pair of undies … until you wear a pair under your sheerest, clingiest, most problematic dress and realize, Oh. They really are that good.

Zoë Ruderman, Features Director: I wish I could take credit for how I look in my Joyus videos, but alas, #Ididnotwakeuplikethis. The woman who deserves the credit is Courtney Mark. I can tell her, “I want the thing with my hair where it does that thing then the whatchamacallit” and somehow, she knows exactly what I'm talking about. If you're ever in San Francisco and want to look pretty (or need someone to do your Halloween makeup!), she should be your first call.

Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: I compulsively check my phone every few minutes, which means by lunchtime, I'm usually scrambling to find a charger to boost up. But with Joe's latest invention, #Hello jeans, I can charge my phone in the pocket of my jeans. Yep, it's a real thing that exists in real life. There's a hidden pocket with a secret battery pack big enough for your phone – and I promise, it's pretty much undetectable. So next time you find yourself below 10 percent and need to plug in, just stuff your phone in my jeans. It won't be weird at all.
