So who better to take us through a busy week in the life of a Met Gala attendee than Chloe, who's doing everything from trying out the brand's just-launched app to polish testing n the Vogue closet.

Bon App-etit!
“A pre-Met lunch at the Conde Cafeteria. I really wanted a burger but in an effort to fit into my dress I got it with no bun! I’m scrolling through the new Vogue app during lunch, so I can catch up on everything on Vogue.com.”

Haute Ticket
“Every year we produce a special issue dedicated to the Met Gala. 85 percent of it is done beforehand, but the morning after the Met we come in very early and plug everything in from the night before and swoop it out to press by Thursday morning. It’s helpful to look at the issues from the past few years to remember what layouts worked and what didn’t.”

So Polished
“I am feeling like metallics will be the reigning shade of this year’s Met Gala, inspired by the tech/machina theme of the exhibition. My dress is pale pink but has silver pailettes so I wanted to amp that up with my toenail polish. I snuck out to Ten Over Ten for a quick pedicure and was deciding between these three: Platinum, Baroque Silver and Frock n’Roll.”

The Do
“My fierce Fembot hairdo by Edgar at John Barrett. It's very much like a mullet: business in the front, wild party in the back.”

The Morning After
“Martin and I reviewing images bright and early in the office at 5:00 a.m.”
