Exclusive: How Model Jessica Hart Prepped for the 2016 Met Gala
Rise and Grind
“You can't be blonde enough!” says the model, who hit up her colorist in the morning right after her workout. “Thanks, AJ at Pierre Michelle Salon for coming in on your day off for root control.”
A Bright Future
While under the dryer Hart plays with products for her look, including the LUMA Cosmetics Highlighter in Nude Lamé from her own line.
Relax and Rejuvenate
Hart stops by Take Care Spa in the East Village for a facial with her go-to aesthetician, Tess.
Back to her apartment for the next step in her routine: An IV cocktail of electrolytes, vitamins and fluids. “It helps keep my skin and hair healthy and radiant,” she says.
Makeup artist Niki M'nray and hairstylist Staci Child start the primping process.
Hairstylist Child said that Hart looked “insanely stunning” in the inside-out french braid she created.
Exploring Her Options
“Alaia Dress? Check,” she says. “Chicken Cutlets? Check.” Good to know that even a model has a kit of breast-lifting accoutrements (see her Bare Lifts back there?) PS: Of the three clutches she considered, she picked the black one!
Before heading out, there was just enough time for a cup of tea.
“Ok, it's showtime! Thanks to my incredible team for helping me get ready,” she says. “Couldn't have done it without you guys!
