The Modern Family star, who married Manganiello last November, reveals the actor “is the kind of guy that doesn’t see imperfections,” she tells PeopleStyle in this week’s issue. “He just thinks that I have a nice figure, great skin, great hair and that’s all he needs.” Even around the house, the actress, 44, admits she always makes a little effort when it comes to her appearance. “I always have something on, even if I’m going to shower, I put on a little bit of mascara, a little bit of blush and some lipstick,” she says. “I usually wear my hair down. I don’t really like my hair up, it gives me a headache.” Courtesy of Avon While launching her new perfume, So Very Sofia by Sofia Vergara with Avon, Vergara says she’s trying to embrace aging. “I have to work out my legs more because my knees are starting to look weird,” says the actress, who uses a trainer and the Megaformer. Now in her 40s, “I think you’re a better person,” she adds. “You’re more mature, you know what you want, you know what’s important and you don’t sweat the small stuff. I wish I had that knowledge in my 20s.” So when does the actress feel her sexiest? “I want to tell you it’s when I just woke up, but it’s not true,” she says, laughing. “It’s when I have my hair and makeup completely done for work, that’s when I feel more sexy.” For more from Sofia Vergara, pick up the newest issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday.
