“Our first stop was to visit a community of women who are using beautiful traditional weaving skills to make blankets, rugs, bags and more. We got caught in a crazy storm, but the rain made touring their village extra lush, beautiful and green.”

“Next, we took a two-hour drive to a small village where Raven + Lily works with Muslim women who previously didn t have access to jobs to make a lot of different products. They taught me how to make organic soaps – the chai and lavender were my favorites!”

“This is me in the home of a wonderfully strong and inspiring woman named Bagi. She and her daughters all work for the company, making bracelets, clutches and other handmade goods – and their jobs have allowed them to purchase this beautiful home we visited them in.”

“This was probably my favorite day of the trip. I got to visit a group of girls who bravely escaped the trafficking trade. They now have jobs making beautifully embellished T-shirts for the company. We got to spend the day eating, talking, laughing and most importantly they taught me how to Bollywood dance!”

“I have always wanted to go to Holi Fest, which is the festival of color and love. We celebrated the end of the trip with my new friends who work for Raven + Lily at a local party where everyone tossed crazy organic colored powders on us while dancing all day long. It was the best way to end my adventure!”
