Days after Coach celebrated its 75th anniversary with a star-studded blowout, there is reportedly even more exciting news for the brand: Selena Gomez will be the brand’s newest face. (And she announced it without anyone noticing – stepping out of a shoot wearing a shirt and bag from the brand on December 5.)

Coach is known for working with big-name celebs — they have Chloë Grace Moretz fronting their fragrance, Lena Dunham serving as a muse for their 75th anniversary handbags and loyal fans including Emma Roberts and Zoë Kravitz attend every runway show.

But with Gomez reigning as queen of Instagram for the second year in a row, this will be one of their most major celeb partnerships to date. The deal reportedly cost $10 million, Page Six reported Sunday, and while at the time, reps skirted the report, telling PeopleStyle that “Coach has a long-standing policy of not commenting on rumors and speculation,” the brand confirmed the partnership with a press release Friday. According to the release, Gomez not only will star in the brand’s spring 2017 ad campaigns, but she’ll also collaborate with creative director Stuart Vevers on “a special design piece” and work with the Coach Foundation to support the Step Up organization which is “dedicated to the empowerment of teen girls from under-resourced communities.”

Gomez is no stranger to being on a billboard: She also has a big ad campaign tied with Louis Vuitton and is a Pantene hair spokesmodel. In the release, Vevers explains Gomez’s appeal, saying, “The woman I design for is authentic, honest and possesses a romantic charm mixed with a cool, confident attitude. Selena embodies all of these qualities perfectly — but the fact that she has always loved Coach, and believed so strongly in our philanthropic mission, made her a true Coach Girl.”

The star recently came back into the spotlight after a three month hiatus. After feeling burnt out she took a break to “take care of myself,” Gomez said. She went cell phone-free during her time away and made her official debut at the American Music Awards.

Accepting her award she told fans in an emotional speech: “If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken … whether you respect me or not, one thing you should know about is I care about people.”
