Photos emerged Tuesday of Nicole Kidman dressed up as Princess Grace Kelly, shooting scenes for the upcoming film Grace of Monaco. The movie, set in 1962, follows the tragic star, who hit it big in Hollywood before marrying Price Rainier of Monaco in 1956. Kidman wears a short blonde wig for the role (we like it!), and will likely don a variety of vintage looks (like the yellow jacket she wore Tuesday) throughout filming. Kelly was known for her classic sense of style and often flamboyant hats, which we can’t wait to see. Production is currently taking place in Menton, a commune in the southeastern section of France, not far from Monaco. Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban, has been by with the couple’s daughters, Sunday and Faith, during the shoot. Grace of Monaco also features Tim Roth as Prince Rainier, plus Paz Vega, Parker Posey, Frank Langella and Milo Ventimiglia. The film’s director, Olivier Dahan, also directed 2007’s acclaimed La Vie en Rose.
