Catherine Kast, Style Writer: I really, really wanted Julianne Moore to wear something green, especially after her stylist Leslie Fremar told me that she thinks of Moore’s red hair as the ultimate accessory when planning out her looks. She’s stunned in the color so many times through the years, but this custom Givenchy Haute Couture piece feels true to Moore’s current style; It’s got movement and intricate embellishment. I would be remiss to not mention the utterly of-the-moment styling of her shoulder-length tresses. Moore never does classic updos, and it makes her entire look all the more modern. I’d love to borrow whatever texturizing product she’s using, and those amethyst earrings too, thanks.

Sarah Kinonen, Editorial Assistant: Pregnant or not, Keira Knightley killed it on the red carpet in a layered plum eyelet Erdem gown. Her hair and makeup look — a purple smoky eye, super-glowy skin and face-framing half updo — pulled the ultra feminine look together. But my favorite touch? Her pink-gold and diamond Repossi ear cuff — a cool but not over-the-top accessory.

Brittany Talarico, Style News Editor: I have to agree with Jennifer Aniston‘s mane master (and best friend) Chris McMillan who described the actress’s look as a “modern version of her,” adding, “she looks California, she looks gorgeous, she looks pretty.” This look represented everything I love about Jen — from the body-loving silhouette on her vintage Galliano gown to her sleek, sun-kissed blowout. Her “Cabo San Lucas” tan pulled the whole ensemble together. Plus, this woman knows how to rock a red carpet body chain.

Jackie Fields, Beauty Writer: I would like to note that this is the second time Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting has stunned in a strapless silhouette. So Kaley, if you’re reading this, dresses like this waist-cinching Romona Keveza gown were made for amazing bodies like yours. And kudos to you not only for your high-low combo of Forevermark diamonds and Aldo heels, but for your high-shine silver mani, which added a cool touch to this classic column gown.

Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor: All I ever want in this world is to see some of the beautiful prints from the runways make it to the red carpet. And time and time again, stars play it safe in solids, especially black. So even though Natalie Dormer’s styling wasn’t anything special (a one-shoulder neckline, to me, begs for a pretty updo, and a white dress demands a pink lip), I still had to give her my “best dressed” title for the lovely, watercolor-print Naeem Khan gown she selected. It was just the slightest bit risky while remaining deeply tasteful and simply pretty. That makes it a winner in my book.
