Ryan Adams did what any good musician would do when his opening act’s (female singer Natalie Prass) flight was canceled — he grabbed a black-and-white polka-dot dress and became “Natalie Sass.”

Adams decided to become his own one-man show, playing a few of Prass’s songs for the Copenhagen crowd. His stage alter ego “Natalie Sass” was definitely a funny ode to the absent singer’s name — and a slight dig at the airline that canceled Prass’s flight, Scandinavian Airlines, or SAS. Regardless, it was clear that the performer (who recently split from wife Mandy Moore) was feeling extra sassy.

“Smooth. Laid back. Kicked Back @NataliePrass @SAS,” the singer Tweeted as he showed off his new look (which he completed with what appear to be a pair of tights).

And he made sure to joke with the crowd during his performance. “I am usually much more gorgeous,” he reportedly told the crowd. “The humidity f***** up my hair.”

Will this be the start of womenswear-inspired looks for men? Doubtful, but we’re happy to see Adams isn’t afraid of a classic LBD. What do you think of Adams’s dress? Do you want to hear more from Natalie Sass? Share your thoughts below.
