The Real Housewives' Most Dramatic Hair Changes Ever
The hairstylist to the Housewives did it again. Julius Michael chopped eight inches off of Ramona's tousled waves. "I was shocked by how good it looks!" Singer told PEOPLE. "This rocks! I look really hot. It's like a new me." And the new Ramona feels better than ever. "They say with age comes wisdom, but it’s also, with age comes confidence,” Singer said. “You erase your weaknesses. I feel more secure in myself and my appearance now than ever. I happen to think I look better now than I did 10 years ago!"
The Beverly Hills housewife has had her flippy, shag hairstyle for so long, shockwaves reverberated through the N.Y.C. area when she debuted her long, pin-straight stands (thanks to an assist from hairstylist Julius Michael) on Watch What Happens Live. "The last time I grew my hair out was when I had Delilah Belle. So, 19 years ago," she told PEOPLE, joking that spending so much time with her long-haired castmate Erika Jayne might have given her the idea. "It was time, what the hell!"
The Real Housewives of Orange County star has always had Farrah Fawcett-like waves, but in 2017 she was convinced by her hairstylist, Julius Michael, that it was time for a change and got a "fresh and hot" bob instead.
Following in her castmate's footsteps, RHOC's Peggy cut 12 inches off her dark brown hair and said immediately afterward that she felt "free and liberated."
In 2016 the RHOBH star chopped off and lightened her notoriously whippable long dark locks. Afterward, she told PeopleStyle that she didn't think she'd keep the look for long. "It’s a little harder [to style] now since I cut it and I put some layers in and I lightened it," she said in 2016, "Now I feel like I have to have it done, which is not really my style, so I’m going to grow it back out again … and go back to dark." And true to her word, she's back to her signature strands today.
The former Beverly Hills housewife celebrated her 50th birthday in 2014 with a drastic hair change. She let go of her long blonde locks for a fresh chin-length hairstyle and has been going shorter and shorter ever since -- in 2015, she debuted a look with ultra-short sides and an asymmetrical front.
And of course, there's Dorit, who wears a new hairstyle in every single scene of RHOBH. For a lunch date she may have a blunt bob with bangs and by dinner, she has long, flowing waves. By now you just know that with Dorit, expect the unexpected.
