If royal style-watching is one of your hobbies, you’ve probably noticed Queen Letizia of Spain’s recent fashion home run. Letizia wore a summer-ready look to her daughter’s First Communion Wednesday, and its already having the “Letizia Effect” on PEOPLE style editors.

The stylish royal layered a white lace Felipe Varela coat over a green dress for the occasion. She accessorized the look with unique lucite accessories including a see-through clutch with metallic silver lining and clear slingbacks, both from the label Magrit. She styled her chic bob (which she debuted last month) with textured waves.

Her daughter, Princess Leonor, skipped the chiffon dress for her school uniform as she made her Communion with the rest of her classmates. And instead of a tiara or flowers in her hair, she sported pigtail french braids for the ceremony held in Madrid.

Letizia has a loyal legion of fans who follow her style — and like to copy it. (Just like a another stylish royal we know.)

“Letizia is very influential in the world of fashion in Spain by popularizing certain tendencies or fashions,” S Moda magazine editor Empar Prieto told PEOPLE. “It’s true that whatever she puts on and is photographed in gets sold out.” (We have a feeling white lace coats are going to become very popular this season.)

What do you think of the Letizia’s latest look? Are you a fan? Sound off below!
