And she just pulled a bold move in the beauty department — one that only true style pros can pull off: the faux bob. Josep Lago/AFP/Getty; Splash News Online The Queen of Spain made us do a double-take with her shorter style, but after further photo research it doesn’t look like an actual haircut. Instead, she pinned her mid-length strands under, a look we’ve seen before on stars including Claire Danes and Carrie Underwood. She teamed her mod hair moment with a black embellished dress and single drop earrings at the Principe de Girona Foundation Awards in Girona, Spain, Friday. In addition to the faux bob, Queen Letizia is also partial to another advanced style maneuver:faux lashes. “Recently her fake eyelashes have gotten a lot of attention,” S Moda magazine editor Empar Prieto tells PEOPLE, adding that the Queen’s style choices have been making headlines in Spain for some time. “Letizia is very influential in the world of fashion in Spain by popularizing certain tendencies or fashions. It’s true that whatever she puts on and is photographed in gets sold out.” (Sound familiar?)
