If you’ve been going through royal hair withdrawals now that Duchess Catherine is off the radar (at least until baby No. 2 arrives), might we point you in the direction of another royal who gives us serious hair envy? Queen Letizia of Spain has finally made the chop!

After practicing with a faux bob last year, it seems the Queen was ready for the real thing — and cut her hair into an asymmetrical blunt-cut bob.

The Queen debuted her new do at the 2015 Woman Awards in Madrid, which she paired with a strapless beaded black dress, a pair of sparkling earrings and a shimmery smoky eye. But this latest look isn’t the only bold beauty moment she’s been getting noticed for. Her faux lashes have also been the talk of the town.

“Recently her fake eyelashes have gotten a lot of attention,” S Moda magazine editor Empar Prieto tells PEOPLE, adding that the Queen’s style choices have been making headlines in Spain for some time. “Letizia is very influential in the world of fashion in Spain by popularizing certain tendencies or fashions. It’s true that whatever she puts on and is photographed in gets sold out.”

Hmmm… sounds kind of familiar, doesn’t it?
