Nicole Richie has successfully transformed herself into a serious, trend-setting designer, and with the upcoming release of the fall 2010 collection of her clothing line Winter Kate, it’s not hard to see why. The effortlessly chic ready-to-wear collection–which borrows its moniker from daughter Harlow’s middle name–is dark and simple with polished lines, yet still maintains Richie’s signature bohemian style. “My main source of inspiration was this movie called From Hell,” Richie tells InStyle.com. “It’s about the Free Masons and Jack the Ripper so it’s definitely about that time [period]. We have capes and cigarette pants, vests, jackets and blazers.” The line also includes intricately patterned flowing dresses, a colorful peacock-print blazer, and a sheer crimson-colored frock. With such eclectic and sleek pieces, we can’t wait until it hits stores! To see more from her latest collection, check out InStyle.com.
