This week, PEOPLE beauty and style director Andrea Lavinthal and TODAY contributor Jill Martin joined TODAY anchors Hoda Kotb and Kathy Lee Gifford to unveil the winners of the  2016 People and Today Beauty Awards.

After months of testing hundreds of drugstore products that launched this year, People and Today staffers narrowed them down to their 41 favorite products total, including 10 in the hair category, 10 in skincare, 8 in body and 13 in the makeup categories. And with products ranging from shampoo and conditioning treatments to foundation, there’s something for everyone’s shopping list. On Monday, Lavinthal introduced TRESemmé’s Beauty-Full Volume Shampoo and Conditioner, which took the award for the best washing system for fine hair. Next, she moved on to the best mask for damaged hair, Garnier’s Whole Blends Repairing Mask, which our tester felt worked better than her usual pricey conditioner.

For texture, Not Your Mother’s Soft Waves Sea Salt Spray won, followed by Dark and Lovely’s Au Naturale leave-in conditioner, which was loved by natural hair types.

And in the hair spray categories, Pantene Pro-V’s Airspray collection was the crowd favorite for hold, while Dove’s Dry Shampoo won for in-between washes.

Tuesday’s segment brought in the makeup winners, ranging from L’Oreal’s Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation to Covergirl’s TruNaked eye shadow palette, Maybelline’s Master Strobing Stick and more.

Wednesday’s final day of awards announcements included skincare and body products: Simple’s cleansing oil, Neutrogena’s makeup removing wipes, Dove’s beauty bar and much more.
