It’s a big day in the world of Hollywood hair, with Jennifer Lawrence, Uma Thurman and Penn Badgley debuting some major hair changes that had us all turning our heads.

The first bold switch-up belongs to Badgley who revealed a brand new platinum blonde dye job with a pink tint and fauxhawk uring his band MOTHXR’s concert performance in Miami last night. He’s worn his hair at every length, but the bright do is an entirely new look for the former Gossip Girl star. “Penn has been working more on his music career. He’s feeling super creative, so he wanted to have a little fun,” his stylist Ryan Trygstad tells PeopleStyle of the look, which is a “very undone” cut on a grown-out buzz cut. “We planned for a couple months on doing a ’90s style. Grunge, pink — more of a yellow pink.”

Badgley is just the latest dude this year to embrace a bolder bleached do. Orlando Bloom‘s blond locks have recently been transforming from bright to ashy, Zac Efron ditched his chestnut color for frosty blond tips in June and Zayn Malik went totally bleach blond last winter. You know you love it – XOXO.

Thurman, on the other hand, went in the opposite direction as Badgley. The normally golden blonde star stepped out with a deep, auburn brunette shade. To give the color change the most natural look, Thurman also added a subtle reddish brown tint to her previous ashy blonde brows, pulling the entire style together.

And while Lawrence has been embracing her shorter lob ‘do throughout most of the past year, the actress jumped on the long hair bandwagon like other stars have done lately. The 26-year-old added in some extensions for the press tour for her upcoming film Passengers that brings us back to her OG Hunger Games days.
