We know, we know, you’re probably sick of hearing “wear a crop top with high-waist pants,” but Ashley makes the combo feel fresh by choosing a loose-fitting, spaghetti-strap tank and throwback pleated Three Floor bottoms with a thin gold belt. (P.S. Love stylist Joey Tierney’s look, too!)

She said she’s “channeling my inner ‘Blossom’ (circa 1990),” and even though there’s a retro hat, the rest of the look feels decidedly right-this-second. Jamie reminds us that we don’t have to retire our chambray button-downs during hot weather (just replace them with a sleeveless version) and gives us yet another way to wear a black midi. P.S. Those accessories are an example of matchy-matchy done right.

“Jump into this jumpsuit!” is the caption the Celeb Style Council member put on her Instagram shot. We followed her advice. Two staffers got the denim Paige onesie and are copying Jamie’s styling to a T: edgy heels (hers are Rebecca Minkoff), slouchy sweater, on-trend sunnies.

If you’re looking to dip a toe into the print trend, this look is not for you. But for those of you with an advanced degree in prints, consider mixing polka dots as Jamie does with her blouse and full skirt (both Banana Republic x Marimekko). Spots of different sizes keep the combo from looking clownish and sticking to the same color palette means it won’t appear too busy. (And we love the pop of color via her Kate Spade Saturday clutch.)

In case you haven’t heard, was in Paris for some big family event recently and everyone’s talking about what one of her sisters wore, but we want to draw your attention to this look. She shows just a sliver of skin via a BLQ crop top and retro polka-dot skirt by ASOS, adding a black moto for edge and two-tone heels to pull it all together.

The next time you have an office party or networking event, skip the standard LBD and nude pumps in favor of a two-piece ensemble and chic sandals like Ashley (hers is Monica Rose for Lovers + Friends). A slicked-back pony and minimal makeup will keep the overall effect polished and professional.

Any excuse to go out and buy another moto. Her rose-printed Sachin + Babi topper (worn over the shoulders, natch) is bold, but that doesn’t stop the from adding two jewel-toned pieces. And it works because the dress and lace-up heels are solids so they don’t compete with the patterned jacket.

Lucky for us, the piece of her look that we like the most is the one piece we can actually afford: her leopard-print Kardashian Kollection pencil skirt. But since teams it with a fancy cream Sisley coat, a classic button-down, a Givenchy bag and Roberto Cavalli heels, no one would ever know it’s such a budget-friendly find.

Ever wonder what people mean when they say it’s about the styling, not about the actual clothes? Nikki is the perfect example.
