Oscars 2016 Predict-a-Gown!

BRIE LARSON
It's been her breakout year, and she's winning just as many style points (in top labels like Calvin Klein Collection and Atelier Versace) as she is statues for her role in Room. Not only do we predict she'll wear something sparkly (like this sequined Reem Acra design featuring a sexy high slit to show off her amazing body), but we also predict she'll win the Best Actress award.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE
The actress is the ultimate Dior darling, and she rarely strays from wearing the French label. (Reminder: She has a deal with the fashion house.) While she's bound to go all-out custom, we're picking this look from Dior's Spring/Summer 2016 Haute Couture catwalk as the inspiration. It has a sexy neckline, which Lawrence loves, plus the tulle accents and beaded embellishments make the dress a head-turner, which is what Oscars fashion is all about.

CATE BLANCHETT
“She always wears whatever she wants to wear,” Blanchett's stylist Elizabeth Stewart told PeopleStyle of her client. So expect something statement making, unique and one of a kind from the star similar to this lavender Armani Privé (a label she loves) design featuring a voluminous skirt and one-shoulder neckline. (There's a reason she's everyone's style icon.)

KATE WINSLET
When asked to describe her style in three words, Kate told People, “Black, black and black!” Not only does this Brandon Maxwell design meet the Jobs star's color requirement, it also has a body-loving silhouette that Kate gravitates toward. “I stick with things that [are] figure flattering, structured and a solid color,” the mom of three has said.

ROONEY MARA
How low can you go? Really low if you're Rooney Mara, who isn't afraid of a risky red carpet plunge. The Best Supporting Actress nominee “sees fashion as a form of art” and loves to make a statement. This plunging, wine-colored, pleated Valentino gown is the fancy big sister to the black Valentino she wore to the SAG Awards (read: It was totally made for the Academy Awards red carpet).

RACHEL MCADAMS
According to her stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, The Spotlight star is “laid-back and no frills” when it comes to picking out her red carpet outfits. And since she looks so good in an illusion neckline (see that black, beaded Elie Saab Haute Couture gown at right), she might turn to a similar style like the bright coral Zuhair Murad creation that just hit the runway this year. (But don't expect to see her with a fancy updo — or flashy hair accessories!)

SAOIRSE RONAN
The 21-year-old Brooklyn actress doesn't do basic gowns. She likes texture, color and has fun with her stylist Elizabeth Saltzman. That's why Saoirse would look amazing in this Naeem Khan confection, and yes, she'd probably line the top first.

ALICIA VIKANDER
She's a muse of Louis Vuitton, but we're hoping the 27-year-old Swedish bombshell shakes things up at the Academy Awards in something from Jenny Packham's latest collection. The clingy silhouette on this low-back design by the British designer would look amazing on her body, and we all know how The Danish Girl star feels about sequins.
